Food is delicious. We’ve been several times before for their baguettes and they are amazing. Yesterday we had their breakfast and it didn’t disappoint, great quality and huge portion (we couldn’t finish ours!). We will be back soon for a slice of cake, as all the cakes in the counter looked to die for. The only thing we would say was that the room was a bit cold, regardless the fireplace being lit, so additional heating in the winter would be appreciated.

Amazing array of cakes, the choice is a tough one. Nice strong coffee. The meals here are really good too, the only downside is the lack of choice on smaller light meals. I will certainly be back, always great service and food.

Lovely area for a visit plus great cafe and loos. Small visitors centre. Access to Tarka trail & bike hire. Can be a little busy with cyclists, walkers, dogs and general visitors. Footpath to Fremington comes out opposite New Inn.

We've been using Fremington Quay Cafe for at least the last 8yrs and have never had a bad meal or experience and have always been made to feel welcome by all staff. Their breakfasts in our opinion are unrivalled and never fail to satisfy and their cakes are absolutely scrumptious, keep up the good work all at FQC, thank you!

A great Cafe, went for a walk along the Tarka trail towards Instow then had a bite to eat at this excellent Cafe. Staff were friendly and welcoming, food came quickly despite being very busy. They serve sandwiches/wraps baked potatoes, cakes etc. Ours wrap/baguette was excellent, generously filled and very tasty. Will be back because the cakes looked fantastic, just didn't have room for them after the wrap/baguette...

Cold miserable day today, so we walked to Fremington Quay for lunch. We were not disappointed. I had a bacon stilton salad, my partner a Tuna Baked potato and we all enjoyed our meals enormously. I would just like less food. Maybe a small one. I do find the portions enormous which for me is a little off putting. The staff are great though its welcoming and reliably good.

First time here. Ordered lunch of rarebit with seasonal salad. More like a main meal. Was absolutely lovely. More expensive than other places but worth every penny. Lovely outside seating area overlooking the Quay. Would go again.
